SPARK at a glance

Powering a cleaner anchorage

SPARK will develop and demonstrate an Offshore Power Zone that supplies electricity to stationary vessels at anchor outside Skagen, Denmark.

The pilot will allow a vessel to connect to an at-sea power point supplied through the nearby Port of Skagen, reducing the need to run auxiliary engines between operations.
